All about Adam...

...the vanity page! To start with, here's a picture of me, scaring lions at the Canberra Zoo a while back. So now you know what I look like - and be prepared - if you ever ask me to work for you, that's what I'll look like when I'm working, too. Here, you'll find links to some old web sites I designed, and a very outdated CV. At some point, I'll add links to some links, and you can read my journal any old time. Also, here are my bookmarks if you want to see them.

In a very small nutshell, I'm a rabid outdoors person, climbing/kayaking/biking/hiking/skiing/snowboarding - you name it. Some of those things I've gotten allright at, in particular climbing big snowy things to snowboard back down, and riding bikes too fast on dirt tracks - but mostly it's all just fun. To fund it all, I guide, do research on sea ice, write web applications in MySQL and PHP, and do the odd web site design job - all depending on the season.

In addition to all that, I support the Wilderness Society, help run the University of Tasmania Bottom of the Earth Society, occasionally take some uni climbing club people to places and do enduro races on mountain bikes. When its not the cold heart of winter I grow my own vegies, brew my own beer, and my main car is a Kona Cinder Cone. Bike on! IP over everything! Server side, not client side! Stick to the track! aaaah!
